The palate is generous and round, with Arabic roasted coffee notes mingling harmoniously with salted caramel and dark chocolate, complemented by nutty, earthy and slightly smoky sea and umami notes. The dark and rich nuances gradually fade away, leaving behind a lingering, delicately sweet marine aftertaste.
Aroma
A multi-faceted aroma in which notes of toffee and raisins are delicately intertwined with notes of almond, complemented by the aroma of roasted kombu.

The name “Currach” comes from a traditional Irish boat made of wicker, hide and resin that dates back to the Neolithic era. The boat was used to collect religious artefacts and transport whiskey to Scotland, and continues to be used today to collect seaweed in Ireland.
