Color

Whisky a golden yellow color.

Taste

Glen Moray 19 Years Old, 1991 – nice single malt whiskey distillery created Glen Moray, one of the few in Scotland that make barley malt from our own. After distillation, which took place in October 1991, the whiskey is aged in barrels of 19 years, until October 2010. Glen Moray Distillery until 1897 was an ordinary brewery, based in Elgin in 1815, on the river bank losses. In the 20s of the last century, Glen Moray was sold to the company “McDonald & Muir”, owned by the time the neighboring distillery Glenmorangie, and since then the two distilleries maintained fruitful cooperation. Most of the alcohol distillery Glen Moray is the production of a blend of Highland Queen – is a basic standard blended whiskey produced by Glenmorangie. Distillery Glen Moray was one of the first who began to practice double shutter whiskey, which, in contrast to most other distilleries who prefer restraint in barrels from the fortified wines, it began producing in barrels from the dry white wines – Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc. Initially, the plant was equipped with two fixed distillation cubes, in 1978 the company “McDonald & Muir” expanded the scope to four cubes. In 2008, Glen Moray distillery acquired the French company “La Martiniquaise”.

Company Douglas Laing and Co, headed today brothers Fred and Stewart Laing, was founded by their father, Fred Douglas in 1948. Brothers successfully expanded the product range and entered the world market with great samples. The peculiarity of the company is a huge stock of different malts past 50 years. Douglas Laing and Co produces single malt whiskey and odnobochkovoy and blended.
