Tasting Notes
Color
The wine has a deep ruby color that turns into garnet red with age.
Taste
Full and slightly tangy taste wine offers interesting shades of anisette, strawberries, cherries, cranberries, allspice, cloves. Mature tannins support the balance of fruit and acidity, with notes of vanilla, chocolate, licorice in a long finish.
Aroma
The aroma of wine is made up of excellent purity notes of blackberries, cherries, plums, pure tones of lilac and violet flowers. The special depth of flavor give shades of mahogany, mushrooms and tobacco.
Gastronomy
The wine goes well with roast red meats, noble game and is an excellent wine for meditation.
Montosoli – a vineyard located in the north-east of Montalcino at an altitude of 350-400 meters above sea level. The harvest from this crew was first used for the creation of wine Brunello di Montalcino “Montesoli” in 1975. The composition of the soil, a unique location and special microclimate contribute to the maturation of the magnificent grapes, which is then born sophisticated, elegant wines. Brunello di Montalcino “Montosoli” – one of the most popular wines of Altezino. Sangiovese fermented in the traditional way, with a 10-day maceration, then aged in barrels made of Slavonian oak for at least 2 years, ¾ months in French oak barriques from Allier medium degree of roasting 4 months in bottles. The potential of this wine storage is difficult to determine, since not everyone will have the patience to wait more than 20 or 30 years to find out how much would be perfect over the years, and without that impeccable taste. Vintage 1999 version of “Wine Spectator” among outstanding.
