Altos Las Hormigas, Malbec Terroir – Argentine red wine from the grape variety Malbec. Grapes grown in different vineyards in the Uco Valley. This high-density vineyards located in Vista Flores region, as well as two areas in Tupungato. Season 2014 started strong frosts that reduced the yield by 30%, and in the late summer rains and low temperatures and acidity improved the quality of the grapes. The grapes are harvested by hand with meticulous sorting. Berries from different regions are vinified separately. The wort is fermented with native yeasts at a temperature of 24-28 ° C for 12 days. Then, in the course of the year half of the wine is aged in concrete tanks, 25% – in oak barrels and 25% – in metal containers.
