Wine “La Bioca” Zabalda is made from Barbera grapes grown on the western side of a hill on the Vigna Le Chiese plantation. It got its name from the name of the previous owner of the vineyard. After harvesting, the berries are peeled from the stems and undergo cold maceration for two days, after which they are transferred to eight-day fermentation. Upon its completion, the turn of re-maceration comes. Thus obtained wine conquers with its depth, richness and excellent acidity. Serving “La Bioca” Zabalda is recommended for meat and Italian snacks.
