Refined red wine La Gerla, “Riserva gli Angeli” Brunello di Montalcino DOCG has a rich taste with tannin texture and elegant spicy aroma. To create Sangiovese harvested in one of the best vineyards of the economy “Angeli”, on the site which once housed a dovecote. Harvest was subjected to soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature. For aging the wine is placed in barrels of Slavonian oak for 5 years, which explains the status of the “riserva” (vintage wine). Before we go on sale La Jaelre, “Riserva Li Andzheli” Brunello di Montalcino is further aged in bottles 12 months.
