Taste
Taste wine elegant, fresh, with excellent acidity, fine tannins, notes of black currant, blueberry and lingering finish with hints of juicy minerals and spices.
Aroma
Bright aroma of the wine is filled with lots of notes of black fruit and berries (blackberries, cherries Morello), the nuances of resin and oil shale.
Gastronomy
Wine matches perfectly with game, red meat on the grill, roast and stew, as well as with mature cheeses.
Elegant wine “Cami Pesseroles” made from two grape varieties planted at an altitude of 300-400 meters above sea level: Garnacha Tinta and collected with 100-year-old vines Cariñena varieties. The berries are harvested by hand, carefully selecting and then fermented in large oak casks. After fermentation, the wine is aged 18 months in oak French barrels, 20% of which – the new, and then bottled. The wine received its name in honor of the valley in which is located the farm with vineyards. Slate soil vineyards wine filled with light mineral notes. Vintage 2010 is recommended to use in the period from 2015 to 2030.
Small winery Mas Martinet based Jose Luis Perez – pioneer Priory along with Alvaro Palacios, Rene Barbier and Carles Pastrana, who in 1989 together created their first wine. Vineyards with a total area of 7 hectares located around the winery on the banks of the river Siurana, between settlements and Gratallops Falset. The rest of the farm vineyards 3 hectares are scattered around the area Priorat DOQ, including old vineyards near the town of Porrera planted with varieties Karin and Garnacha, and the new site, located high above Gratallops. Today, the main face of the winery is Sara Perez, daughter of Jose Luis Perez, who is ranked among the best oenologist in Spain. All wines are organic farms.
