Paul Jaboulet Aine, “Les Jalets”, Crozes Hermitage AOC is an exquisite red wine from Syrah variety grown on a site named “Les Jalets”. The name comes from the old French word “galets”, translated as “pebble.” The vineyard got its name due to the rocks that cover the ground since the time of the Alpine glaciers. The average age of the sucker used is 25-30 years.

In the process of vinification, “Le Gale” is aged in large oak barrels, which ensures the future of the wine exquisite tannin and rich, deep taste. Experts say that at the peak of maturity, vintage 2016 will be in 2023, but even now it is ready to surprise with its elegant taste and seductive aroma of true lovers of quality wine.

In 1834, Antoine Zhaboulet began working on lands in the Valley of the Rhone, thereby linking the fate of his family with the fate of this fertile terroir. The result of hard work and passion for winemaking became wines of exceptional quality, which became very popular with his sons – Paul and Henri. The first was the name of the family company, which has since been passed down from generation to generation.
In 2006, the company Zhabulé was acquired by the Frey family, who are long-time Champagne winemakers and owners of Chateau La Lagune in Bordeaux. Nevertheless, the company continues to work representative of the family clan Jaboulet – Frederick.

Today, the company Paul Jaboulet Ene owns hundreds of hectares of vineyards, planted mainly in forty-year-old vines, but there are also famous 80-year-olds. It should be noted that in addition to manual harvesting at the winery, traditional methods of caring for the vines are practiced, manual tools and exclusively organic fertilizers are used.
The whole range of wines produced by the house is divided into four lines, depending on the terroir and the drink features: “Icons”, “Domains”, “Terroirs” and “Classic”. The Jaboulet wine house is proud of its past, believes in the future and invites you to try the exceptional wines of Paul Jaboulet Ene.
